This week, we were delighted to host Sarah Clarke from Toshiba. Sarah, who has a wealth of experience in the HVAC industry, has generously taken Ashlie under her wing to mentor her as our dedicated Toshiba specialist.
Sarah's refreshing training approach took Ashlie for training over lunch outside the office. Since HVAC is Ashlie's first job, she loves meetings, and a "lunch meeting" is something very new.
Remember those days, that feeling! I think my first meeting was in 1994. Ashlie returned to the office, buzzing with enthusiasm, telling me she feels much more confident answering technical questions about Toshiba and air conditioning.
Considering Ashlie only finished school two years ago, she has quickly become an excellent front-of-house sales advisor. Thanks to all of our suppliers for investing in her training.
A Brief History of Toshiba Air Conditioning
Originating in Japan, Toshiba has been a pioneer in the industry:
- 1961: Toshiba was the first manufacturer to produce a split air conditioning system for the residential market.
- 1980: They developed and mass-produced the first inverter air conditioning system, making the technology suitable for commercial use. This technology, known for its energy efficiency and quieter operation, has since become the global standard.
- July 2022: Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, acquired Toshiba. Today, the combined entity employs over 53,000 people, including 6,000 engineers.
Why did HVAC Wholesale Partner with Toshiba?
We introduced the Toshiba brand to our product range for three key reasons:
1. Comprehensive Choice: The product line offers our customers a wider selection suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
2. Technical Support: Toshiba provides dedicated 24/7 technical support.
3. Warranty: All units come with a 5-year warranty as standard.
We believe the brand's long-standing reputation for quality and service aligns perfectly with the HVAC Wholesale commitment to excellence, and we are committed to representing this excellence. I also happen to think some of the units are quite beautiful!
The training is now complete, and we are ready to assist you. Please call in and test Ashlie's new technical knowledge of the Toshiba range—you'll certainly make her week!
Thanks for reading.
